Well, similar thing happened to me with my dd who started nursery school this year. At first meeting they say that the uniform needs polos with school logo and ANY navy blue pant that is comfortable enough for a toddler. OK, as I was on my trip in the US I found very good ones at Target; I bought three of them and spent about 35$. I was glad about the pants since I loved them and they were strong and comfortable. When I got here and went to her school to buy the polo shirts with school logo, they tell me that I also needed to buy the pants they were selling because they had the school logo too and they were going to be mandatory from then on. Now, what am I supposed to do with three pants, exactly the same, and without the possibility of returning them? I got upset and told them how come they changed things so drastically during the vacations period.
GRRR! The pants are hanging in the closet.

Mary, send them to your relatives in the US....if they can't return them because of it being too long ago...maybe they can sell them on ebay?

Puzzled: I will take them with me since I am traveling soon. I doubt that I will be able to return them at Target, but I will try; or maybe ebay like you say. However, I am not familiar with that.

I say if he cannot harm himself or others what is the problem. I would go higher than the Principal and say this should have been an issue the first week why wait until October?
