I e-mailed the Arc of NJ's Director of Education Advocacy today.Notellin had given me the name a while back. She already responded needing more details. Hopefully this is a step in the right direction.

She is now helping me to compose a letter to the Director of Special Services pretty much summing up everything we have asked for, everything they have refused to do and how there are still problems. Also asking once again for an evaluation. If they refuse again then she has told me to go to mediation and the steps I need to take to do that. She seems to think he needs a 504. I am going to call her on Thursday when she is in the office. I heart her.

Spoke with her today and told her what his teacher said. She told me to just keep in contact with the teacher and ask her if she wants me to write a letter or not. She told me to hold off on the original letter for now. I am so happy that this is finally going to happen. I hope.Keep your fingers crossed for me!
