I heart Sean's teacher. She told me there needs to be some intervention, she said he's not going to make it if things keep going this way. She said she feels he needs to be evaluated!!!!! She was shocked to hear that WE want him evaluated. She was even more shocked to hear that we had requested it twice and been denied. She is going to talk to the principal, and some others to try and get it done. I told her I am taking the steps to request it be done again and will be getting an advocate. She was very pleased to hear that we want it done. All the bad news I got from her was replaced with happiness and relief when she told me that she feels the eval. is a good idea.
She said there are many behavioral issues-pretty much the same things that have been going on for years.She did show me the rest of the class' work compared to Sean's and things are even worse than I thought. She wants to show some of his work to the social worker and asked if that was ok with me. There were many other things that I can't think of right now but I am just so glad that she feels the same as I do. I'm sure that they will listen to her much more than they listened to me!
