No, he has nothing, we didn't even know he had all these learning disabilities until about a month ago when the first grade teacher at his school, started becoming concerned that he wasn't grasping what the other kids were, he clearly could not read....she suggested having him CORED and those were all the things they found. He is in a regular classroom in a private school.

I work at a Further Education College in the UK dealing mainly with adults giving them vocational education on their mode of employment.... and we use scribes in our classrooms quite often - even in the adult communities ...
These scribes help adults who have problems reading and/or writing for whatever reason (sometimes because they never learned to read or write properly as children, sometimes because they are severely dyslexic, sometimes because they are very limited on their sight, sometimes because they have learning difficulties making writing/reading a difficult option for them) ... Whatever the reason this has become a very accepted and normal way of helping people ... of all ages ... We have scribes in the classrooms and the examination rooms (where needed) and they fulfil a hugely important role ... giving the recipient the potential to communicate properly via reading and writing - often for the first time ever ...
I hope this will work out well for your son .. GOOD GOOD LUCK!!
