There are some things coming to my mind this moment; the fact that he clears his throat often (I have always thought this to be a tic), the fact that he hates foods that are harder to chew and swallow such as certain meats...  I will definitely mention these things to his doctor. |

I will definitely mention these things to his doctor. The throat clearing could be a tic, or a habit, or a reaction to chronic sinus drainage ... My son has occasional tics which are adhd related and appear more often due to the stimulant medication; they aren't too obvious but they are present some times. There are times I am not really sure whether a behavior is a tic or not; but the throat clearing just calls my attention due to what has been described about the tonsils thing. Maybe it is a tic, but maybe it isn't... |
