I'm sorry you couldn't get him in today but I'm glad he seems to be fine. I wouldn't have let him do basketball either until he is checked out. That is quite a workout.
Let us know how it went as soon as you get back, please!

I'm happy to report that Josh seems to be doing just fine! He had his appointment this morning with his doctor and he did a very extensive physical exam on him and he feels that Josh did just pull a chest fiber/muscle. He also sent us to get and ekg right after his appointment because he knew I wouldn't rest and he also felt it was deemed necessary, even though he in no means thought it was a cardiac problem. He was very surprised that they didn't do one to begin with and was a little angry. I don't have the results of the ekg yet, they send them directly to The University of Michigan Hospital Cardic lab, then on to his doctor. It should take about 3 days to get the results. So thank you all for your prayers and concern...I feel so much better now...you can't even imagine. He's my joy, my heart, and my life...I was so scared. Yea God!

That is such a relief! I'm glad the dr had the ekg done also, just in case. Maybe he will let them know at the er that if it ever happens again, one had better be done then. I know what you mean about your son.

It is so nice to hear that he is ok I understand those feeling of sheer terror at the hospital or the waiting or feeling helpless but as the mom your child is your everything, and thats all that counts. ;D
