It sounds like she knows her stuff and is ready to take action. I can't wait to hear how your appointment goes.

I got a little aggravated with Ran's assigned counselor at school today, I had called yesterday to pick up her missed work for 2 days and then got stuck at work and could not pick it up. So this morning I called and asked the counselor to add todays work to the packet and I would pick it up. She is like we don't just get one day of work together and I am like it is 3 days! So I go in to pick it up in the counseling office and then I tell the woman, were you not in the last IEP meeting with the group? I am surprised that you had made the statement of not getting Ran's work for today, that concerns me! Then I told her that Ran and I had an appt for testing on the 29th and I needed all the records of testing and IEP stuff to give the physc that day and she is like you have to sign a paper with the sped case worker. I was like well, you get me the paper, she was shocked that I would ask her that. I said never mind, I will email the sped caseworker myself on monday and the principal and get it done!
Aggravating to me!
Don't parents have the right to view anything that is in the kids record? She said I had to sign a release to the physcologist and stuff and I am like, I want the stuff since I am meeting with the physc in person! Geeeeezzzeee!

well I got a huge sealed 8 x 11.5 envelope full of stuff that they copied for me from the school! I should have bypassed the school counselor in the first place! Now I am sitting just looking at the envelope and wondering if I should even open it, or just hand it to the physcologist on friday morning? I don't want to tangle my brain all up in this and obsess about it tonight!
I don't know if it would even help for me to look at the stuff at this point, it just brings up more questions that I would have to study!
