Welcome to our gang! I'm one of the few here who does not have children at home. I started the research about ADHD when my sister's daughter was DX'd ADHD and ended up making this site my home.
Great to have you here and hey, I used to live in Ft. Walton Beach. I loved it there!

cool glad you are here, the kids and I live in Oregon, but we vacation every other year in Destin! Nice beaches there, clear water and white sand. Last year my 14 year old and I had a shark adventure that was very interesting there. See you around.

Thanks for the invite everyone! I live down by the Palm Beach county line. My son is a ESE student too and in a special ESE class for 4th and 5th graders. He is in 4th grade should be in 5th but kept him 1st grade again and he is actually doing very good now!! I love his teacher and there is only 8 kids in his class. Mostly 4th graders in the class. He has been on all different medications but did not do good getting off of them towards night time. Even did the Daytrana patch and that was a nightmare too. My husband will not put him on any meds now but I think he still needs something cause his anxieties are really bad now. The Neurologist suggested Stratera for his anxieties but my husband says no to meds. Thanks for listening and I love that smile here Thats what my son says to his sister all day and night. She loves pushing his buttons....LOL

I lived in Miami for a couple of years before our daughter was born. It was beautiful, but I missed the changing seasons. I have a 13 year old ADD inattentive daughter with a math LD. It can get crazy here too & I just have one child! I'm glad you joined our group!

Florida is one of the few states I haven't been to. I would love to go there some day. I've been married 13 years and have a 12 yr old ADHD -in son. I also have an adult daughter and beautiful twin grandsons.

Hi, 2gr8kids! I'm so glad you found our little group! Can't wait to get to know you. We're all a very supportive group and we have lots of fun. I have an almost 12 year old son with Adhhhhd and anxiety. I know what you mean about the medication merry-go-round. My son does not do well on the stims because of his anxiety issues. He is currently on Strattera and it has made a difference. Once again, Welcome to the group! We're so happy your here!
