I found an old sketch pad with a few of my drawings so thought I'd post a couple here so LC isn't so lonely. LOL The first one I'm cringing a bit because I see what I did wrong but ....oh well. Obviously, the second one was a really quick "loose" sketch.   |

WOW JJ. Those horses are gorgeous! The woman is so detailed & I can't see anything wrong with it like you said. I never knew you were such a great artist!

Thanks jj for adding to this area, I do feel like I am hoging it sometimes. I like your drawings, you are so critical of yourself. They are good and I get a feeling from them that makes me enjoy looking at them! Start drawing some more in all that vast time you have. I try to at least draw for 15 minutes a day, just to try new things that are on my mind!

Thanks guys. *blushing* LC, Ya know, I just don't get inspired to drag out my pencils to draw this kind of stuff anymore. I don't know why. I do get inspired to draw things like - how I can make this cabinet or a perspective view of my dream home or dream living room, kitchen or how I want to landscape/hardscape my yard. I just don't have any churning thoughts that I need to express on paper. Well, I take that back. It drives me nuts I can't draw reflecting water in pencil. I can draw close up reflections if I set my mind to it but I just can't get the reflections right from a birds eye view perspective. That I am inspired to practice. Here, this is the kind of stuff I like to do. One of my many,many dream family vacation homes that was in that old sketch pad.  You can click me if you want - I'll get bigger.Not exactly what you call "art" per say. LOL I really wish I was inpired to do some "real" art. |

Wow, JJ, theres alot of chairs at that dining table. Are you gonna invite us all for dinner? LOL.
I know what you mean about not getting inspired. I used to write a lot of poetry, but in the last few years I haven't felt the urge. I guess it just depends on the circumstances.
