Habits are habits and once you get to drinking water you will find you want water.
But cutting out the pop (or coffee in my case) you will go through withdrawal and get headaches. It is a lot like smoking (another nasty habit of mine). I don't drink much soda but I replaced it with coffee. Even though I drink far too much coffee I still drink a lot of water. I have to have my water as much as I do my coffee. And I used to hate water but you still can't get me to touch our out-of-the-tap water....nasty stuff. Must have bottled spring water.

I heard that even diet soda's can hamper wieght lose for some reason, don't remember why though! I like water, I have always been used to it from working outdoors most of my career. Funny thing is I do not like ice cold water, I prefer it air temperature!

Dimples, my grandma had well water & it was AWFUL tasting! I can taste it now just thinking about it. Lc, I'm the opposite....I only drink spring water & it has to be in a frozen glass with a bunch of ice cubes. And I make my ice cubes out of spring water too!

I grew up on well water and it was so sweet and clean, no nasty taste. The neighbors across the street had sulfa water and it made their house smell like rotten eggs whenever anyone ran water. It tasted even worse. The funny thing is they loved theirs and hated ours, said it had no taste.

I was used to city water so when we visited my grandma, we'd do anything not to drink that nasty well water. We wouldn't even use her ice cubes. UGH.....well water gives me the creeps. Now that I've been drinking Spring water I notice how awfully chemical-smelling the tap water really is. On a side note, do you know that if you rinse your hair with Spring water after you shower, it becomes much softer.

Once we moved here, he LOVED our well water. But, I was raised on city water and this well water has a very high iron content. Tastes metallic. Like drinking liquid iron. yuck. I like bottled water only. And it has to be ice cold.

i used to drink about 5 tins of diet coke a day and mugs of coffee but when i started to take the concerta,it did not mesh well with it. i hate water, cant stand it,i actually like ice tea now which i did not before and unfortunately i discovered black coke which is coca cola and coffee together, one sip and you are flying.
