I love wrapping gifts too. I'm depressed this year because theres not much to wrap....we are too short on money due to me having to quit work & stay home with Bill. But I'm making the best of it. I cut a lot of people off my list & am concentrating on my daughter & nephew.

I think I should have hit the bah humbug for I detest Christmas music. I can handle it the week before mixed with other songs but when the do it Mid November non stop until after New Years it gets ridiculous. The music can be depressing (Christmas shoe song for example) and irritating. In my Defense I am from a Jewish family.
As for the rest it can be depressing when money is tight that I can so relate and that adds more stress and guilt for Hanukkah is near Christmas. In my house we do celebrate both for Hubby is Christian so we are teaching Annette both religions and celebrate all. I guess I am not a total bah humbug. Also I will admit for one of my families on my caseload that do not have anything I put in for gifts from salvation army for them however their teenager age 16 is excluded for the age cut off for it is 13 so I got her something and put it aside and when I deliver the goods this one is secretly from me.

I'm really torn this year. ;D I love everything to do with what Christmas is about. I love all of our church activities and all the family traditions that we do. I love decorating and baking all the holiday cookies and such. But, this year we are strapped, just like every other family in America. I'm praying that my husband has a job after the new year, so it takes a little out of you. The good side is now I don't have to shop for anyone but Josh. I told everyone that we can't exchange gifts this year...it was hard, but necessary. So, we're just going to enjoy our family and be thankful for the birth of our Savior...because that's what its all about.

I love it all!!! This is my favorite time of the year. I went shopping on Black Friday (it is the best), I can't wait to get a tree and decorate it, can't wait to bake cookies. We went last week to get the kids pictures taken. have to make that trip to see Santa. I love that Tiff still believes so that I still have Santa send a letter and call her. X-mas morning to see the surprise in her face and pulling off that trick that Santa can sneak in and eat the cookies and drink the milk.
It really is the most wonderful time of the year.

I decorated today! I found a TV station on "On Demand" that plays Christmas music 24 hours a day so I blasted music & decorated my house! Bill was sleeping & when he woke up the house was transformed & you should have seen his face. We hardly have any money with all that has happened with Bill, but I am still completely in the spirit. All I need is snow to be perfectly happy!
