Got this in my email..makes sense to me.

This plan seems a whole lot better than what the Congress/White House has come up with!
This was an article from the St. Petersburg Times Newspaper. The Business Section asked readers for ideas on "How Would You Fix the Economy?"
I think this guy nailed it!
Dear Mr. President,
Patriotic retirement...
There are about 40 million people over 50 in the work force - Pay them $1 million apiece severance with the following stipulations:

1) They leave their jobs. Forty million job openings - Unemployment fixed.
2) They buy NEW American cars. Forty million cars ordered - Auto Industry fixed.
3) They either buy a house/pay off their mortgage - Housing Crisis fixed.
It can't get any easier than that!

That sounds very good to me since I've passed the big 5-0. Its a lot cheaper than anything the government has come up with too!

Sounds better AND cheaper than the stimulus package our childrens, children will be paying forever.

No kidding Bugs. I am just sick about how much Obama is spending on top of everything Bush spent and Bush was far from a saint with his spending, thats for sure. I'm scared to death what programs will be cut in the near future. I'm scared for our future in general.

illegal immigration, hurricane recovery, alligators attacking people in Florida ....



Solutions:

+ Dig a moat the length of the Mexican border.

+ Send the dirt to New Orleans to raise the level of the levies.

+ Put the Florida alligators in the moat along the Mexican border.
