Glad you followed the sign over here. LOL Wow, a hot air balloon. That is something I have always wanted to do and never have! Instead I make a point to go watch them take off and it is a amazing sight.
How wonderful your son is doing so well. And almost off to college.
I hope you pop back in now and then.

Sorry that I didn't answer till now. I just noticed how to go on to page two. A long week end trip to San Diego was hubby's idea to get me in the sun and outside and away from Seattle's gray weather. (I have SAD) He is a real romantic...champagne, wine tasting and long walks in the country and on the beach. Watching the whole process of taking the balloons out, filling and flying was great fun. I am so happy to be with you guys again!

ACTUALLY he's NOT very Thoughtful AT ALL ! ! ! Why, you ask . . . is John getting all WonkY again with his crazy ideas and Off the Wall Theories ? I'll tell you why since you asked. ONE = He makes all the other husbands look bad and is basically Raising the bar on what is considered ''Normal'' Romantic activity for us other more saps to live up to. TWO = Now all the other wives who hear about this will start looking at their hubby's and wonder, ''What the heck is this guys problem, all he does when he comes home is sit on his butt & see how many beers he can drink before I flip out and smack him into neXt week-end. THREE = That's all I could think of at the moment . . . FOUR = ACTUALLY I think it was a Great thing to do . . . . . . Had 'ya going there for a minute Didn't I ! ?

Hi, my name is Leslie and I'm mom to Spencer, a 6 year old who has ADHD and Sleep Apnea (despite Tonsils/Adenoids removal 10/31/06). Fellow member, Puzzled, led me here, and I thank her very much. My husband and I have been married for 17 years and overall, things are really going well. I have to say I've enjoyed Spencer's current age - he's becoming more civilized all the time! Even though he's very hyperactive, I try to think positively about it - that he's enthusiastic and ambitious - instead of concentrating on how spastic he is! He literally does not stop moving from wake-up to asleep. We endured a few years of his hitting both of us parents and his peers, which was so difficult, but I'm glad he's reigning in this aspect of his impulsiveness. He does interrupt a lot and when excited, his voice is extremely high-pitched. I worry that he will begin to get teased about this. The folks at NetHaven had some great ideas about breathing techniques to try. It was my first time to visit a chat site and I really enjoyed it. I look forward to this board's chat site too. Everyone here is so nice and helpful. I've found a great place to "land." Thank you, Squirrel

Well, SquirrelGirl, I'm so happy you decided to intro yourself! You sound like you have your hands full, but you seem to have such a great attitude about everything! My ADDer is turning 13 this week so I'm well past the phases you're in, but into complete different phases. Add to it that mines a girl, full of teenage moodiness & PMS & you can see that its a real madhouse here at times!

I'm glad Puzzled pointed you over here. Anyone who is a friend of Puzzled is a friend of ours. Look forward to getting to know you a little better and I do hope you make the chat here.
