Our problem is mean kids and my girl getting bullied. This boy in several of her classes has been getting in her face telling her she is ugly and hideous and nobody likes you. As for friendships she only has 1 good friend otherwise she is a loner. Her class has been deemed by the school district is the worst class in years. The only positives is we have people looking out for Nette thanks to her father. My husband is the school Custodian for the Middle and High school's and has befriended many teachers prior to her attendance. My husband has made them aware she is a target and they are looking out for her as well as my hubbys co-workers.
The boy that was saying mean things to her was spoken to on Friday by one of my hubbys buddies and he shared with my husband the boy cried and admitted to all and is now afraid (as he should be). Since she is with a rough group I do give her permission if she were to be physically bulled and can handle it to go ahead and kick their bully butt. She goes for blue stripe next month.

My boys are in 7th and 8th this year and they are doing super so far, last year they both continued to kill me with reward monies for A's. They both have been straight A students since almost ;D2nd grade. Zach got all A's & 1 Bm, Adrian got all A's & 1 C.. the C came from a teacher who wouldnt help any students, yes she was reported >:(many times. I made sure this year she was no where near him... I am not the only parent who told the district to keep their kid out of her classes. BUT.. new year and great things for both kids.. woohoooo

Dakota is doing pretty good. I have already gotten a couple of calls from the teacher but they werent horrible issues. He just still cant sit still. I emailed his dr and she wants me to increase the dosage again to have a mid day does again. Other than that he actually says he likes school...well for now

Pretty good so far except for a few minor hurdles. They didn't give Shannon the electives she chose & instead put my child, who has never played an instrument in her life, in Jazz band! She was gonna give it a go, but I can't afford to buy her an instrument & she has no way to practice so she's trying to get another class. Also, she's taking Spanish & is completely lost. I'm wondering if her difficulties with a foreign language tie into her math LD.
Oh she already caught a nasty cold & missed yesterday & today. UGH
