Wow the Holiday decorations look great! Thank you all for your good wishes. A lot has happened in the last couple months and now we are gearing up for the next phase of moving to the East Coast. Hubby has been working back east, our house out west sold, we bought a house, movers come next week (agh! need to start packing!), our family will spend the holidays together at a hotel in the east while we wait for our goods to arrive, then my youngest son and I return to the Northwest to finish the semester. We are all so excited to be together for winter break. Wishing you all warm and happy holidays with those you love. ;D

Sounds like things are busy and I am happy for you things are well. It is good to hear success stories. As for your daughter my niece did the same thing went to a foreign country to teach a year and got lots of experience and helped her get a job when she came home also she did extra tutoring for extra money. With tutoring money she was able to pay off most of her loans so when she came home she is now teaching at a middle school and going back for a higher degree. She is an English teacher.

Hi Guys!
Just wanted to say a quick "Hi, hello, how's it goin'!" After living with my son, the cat and the dog in a cheap hotel for a month, we finally moved to NJ at the end of January and I are starting to get settled...well yes there are still lots of boxes and I did create a Mt Olympus with packing paper, but things are good. My Adhd son seems to be very happy and from his perspective doing well at college. It seems that he has finally met people that he can connect with and friends that accept and appreciate him. What could make a mom happier? I am looking forward to catching up with all of you.
My best to everyone,
jfla

I'm so happy for your son! Making friends who accept him is BIG! Woo Hoo. Thanks for the update and once you get rid of that mountain stop in more often.
I know folks would love your take on how you got your son to be where he is today.
