Hi everyone! I'm new here. I live in Southern California....Catalina Island to be exact. I own a little pet boutique here on the island. I have an 8yo dd who was diagnosed with ADHD/ODD a little over a year ago. As you all know, this is an ongoing, very very tiring journey! I used to post on another board (don't know if we can mention names, but I was tonyas over there).
I lost touch over there for awhile & just recently the other board again. I was a little bummed when I didn't see very many of the same names there anymore. I think some of you are now over here? Anyway, back to my dd. She is currently on meds & has been for the entire year & a half. For the most part it's been a good thing, except for the weight issue. This school year seems to be harder than last (I think the teacher has a lot to do with it). Anyway, that pretty much sums us up. I look forward to talking to you all & sharing our journies together!

Hi! I do remember you. I was Auntie over there. I specifically remember you living on Catilina Island because I thought...that lucky rat! ROTFL
It is so good to have you around again.

Welcome I was and still go there once in a while Jillette. The old board is basically dead now all new people no fun at all the basement has nothing in way of posts. I am glad and sorry you are dealing with ODD issues glad for i am not the only one and sorry for it is not fun to deal with.

 I used to go there, but not for a year or longer now.I don't remember you so you must have come after I left. Anyway, this board is MUCH better & friendlier, if I do say so myself! LOL> Glad you found us! |

Yes I was chasesmom79 over.....there....and I am so happy that you found us! How is your little girl? I think of her often and hope that I was able to be of some help. I hope she is gaining still, I remember that she had a VERY involved teacher before that made sure she snacked regularly before...you were lucky to have that teacher!
The admins here are soooo much friendlier and in it for the families, not for themselves, so make yourself comfortable and join in!
