Just wondering what everyone gives out. I usually buy the fun sized bars & then give a couple to each kid. I buy suckers for the little ones. I do make home made chocolate but I only give it to kids who's parents know me & I label it with one of my address labels.

DW gives out the small size candybars and other stuff. I like to give these kids something that will Actually HELP THEM with there LIFE ! I tell them when they get to COLLEGE to minor in BUSINESS 'cause you can use that no matter what field you go into. They are Sooooo Thankfull that some adult actually CARES about Them !   |

I used to give out full sized candy bars but I don't get trick or treaters anymore.  I'll probably buy some fun sized candybars just in case though. |

I only get a bag for the kids in the complex. We just go out and gather candy, lol.

I voted for Fun Size bars too. I always give out a candy bar and another sweet, like Skittles or Starburst. I also try to hand out something that Josh can have in case he gets tons of candy that he can't have due to all his food allergies. Poor little bugger, I always end up with more candy than him...but I make it up to him with other stuff he can have.

Fun sized bars got my vote too .. I normally buy a big pack of them and then dish them out ... but this year I got smart !! ...  I am going to my own Halloween party which means I will be out at the time all the kids come around !! ;D (Not to be mean ... because I love halloween and normally always have my pumpkin light glowing to show trick and treaters that they are welcome... but I just happen to be celebrating it differently this year!!) Who says halloween is for kids?? |

I had to put a vote for chips because this year the kids will be getting chips as well as the Fun Sized Bars. My H works for one of the major Snack Food companies and brings home big boxes of them that he pulls from the shelves. They don't leave anything on the shelves very long at all and he would otherwise just throw out chips that are still perfectly fine. I think that's how I put on those extra pounds last winter, LOL.

i know holloween has passed, but hope its ok to still comment
i always give out things that i let my own boys have, nothing that is not in a wrapper, as it might be contaminated, but this year the other mums would of loved me NOT lol
i gave out keep it candy, there sweets on an elastic that is supposed to be a necklace, but my boys catapult them and they end up everywhere, so no doubt my name was mud with the other mums lol
