hi everyone I'm a mum of 4 and my eldest as been diagnosed with ADHD in march an due to start another course of meds after being put on them to early also after 1 school throwing him out he is on the verge of getting thrown out of a second going to panel trying to get him in a special school. x

Its a roller coaster ride but our kids are so worth it!

my eldest is 9 tomorrow an he is going to panell next week on tuesday we got rang once again from his school who couldnt cope with him so we aggreed to send him back to school when he as recieves he meds on the 15th.

Hi & welcome! 9 is the age my daughter was diagnosed so I know what you are going through. A lot of us here have teenagers so ask away, we have probably been there before! It can be so confusing at first, but as you begin dealing with the school on a regular basis, you'll find it gets a bit easier.
I'm just wondering where you are located? I never heard the term "going to the panel" before & just wondered if you are in the States. knowing will also help us help you, as different countries have different regulations & laws. Schools should not be allowed to make you feel forced into medicating your child. I feel bad that you seem to be made to feel as though he's not welcome in his school.
