Oh Brandonsmom I hope you get your answer soon ... I think the "wait" and the "not knowing" is by FAR the worst bit !! ... Once you know ... and if it IS fragile X then you can continue accordingly .... but not knowing is like living in limbo!! I wish I knew more about this condition to share with you .. but I don't ... I have "heard of it" but that is about as far as my knowledge extends ... GOOD GOOD LUCK to you ....

I just went to the Fragile X site and its very informative, how could i not have heard of this before? The scary thing is all the signs are there, the physical and all. I never sat there and thought to myself that they look different because they dont but you have someone tell you what the physical signs are and your staring right at it it kinda takes you aback. My son is not aware of danger, he rode his bike into the busy main road outside my neighborhood and almost got hit by a car, now im afraid to let him go outside unless im there with him. Ive told him a hundred times over and over not to do that and what could happen. the other day he was on my porch with me and the ice cream man came, he ran toward the truck and ran right in front of him waving his hands to stop him. I freaked out, am i supposed to keep a leash on him, i dont understand.
