We got halfway down the street as she was skipping along she fell and the whinning began that led to a meltdown. She then complained the tights itched her and lifted her dress costume and was scratching her upper inner thighs and did not care who saw her. I tried to cover her up so no one recognized her and rushed her home again. Then she whinned about not having a lot of candy to eat. I need a bottle of wine now.

We don't have trick or treating until tomorrow night. Poor kid! Maybe next year she can dress up in something really comfy like a bunny costume.

Actually we did go back out after she calmed down and she did get more candy. Our neighborhood did the candy thing tonight.
On the way home and trick or treating I run into a client on my caseload In my neighborhood, freaky. At least she is a cool one but still she could have seen where we live if we were passing goods out. too close for comfort.

Jill,
Gosh that sure did bring back memories when I read your post. My daughter fell too a few years back when trick or treating and the same thing happened, melt down, the whole nine yards. She still to this day hates stockings or any kind of tights. She wears stockings when she needs to but complains on high about them. This year for the first time she didn't go out, she's 13 now. Made me kind of sad, but it was nice to hang home and just enjoy the kids and their costumes coming up to the house.
