I was at work tonight when Shannon's friends mom picked her up for the winter dance. I came home & my digital camera was nowhere to be found. So I called over there & left a message for Shannon to call me after the dance. Sure enough she took my camera to the dance! I asked her & she said she'd taken it because she didn't think I'd mind. DIDN'T THINK I'D MIND? EVERY time shes ever asked to take it somewhere the answer has been a firm "NO". I told her she should not have taken it without even asking & she replied"But you were at WORK"! I said "Exactly. That means I wasn't here to ask & if I had been here the answer would have been no & you know that". At that point she hung up on me! OK, that made me even more mad & I called her back & told her to put the camera in her bag & not touch it until shes putting it safely in my hands & for pulling one over on me & hanging up on me she is now getting a "NO" the next time Autumn invites her over (Which is all the time). I would have made her come home right then & there but Autumns baby brother was fussy & needed to get put to bed & Bill's sleeping so we can't go get her. I feel bad because she was crying when I finally let her hang up, but man I am so MAD! At least I know she realizes she did wrong.

At least she didn't break it or lose it.
Kids! Ever wonder where our minds were when we decided we wanted to have some?

Kids that age are so sneeky! I'm sure she was hoping you wouldn't notice.
And I sure can't blame you for being mad - especially that she hung up on you. Oh, boy that would tick me off.
