Thank you all so much for support and advice. I appreciate it so much. Uni, that is such a great idea. I am considering doing that. I think that may really get the ball rolling. Thanks so much for telling me about that. Right now, the way things stand, we are going to see what happens with 8th grade and if it another bad year, we may just pull her out and send her to the local private school but I'm hoping we won't have to do that. I'm hoping between the letter and working with guidance that we can get her through 8th grade and go from there. Thank goodness for summer. Hoping my work slows a bit so I can catch up around the house and here. Thanks again so much everyone for your support.

Losty...your letter was awesome. I sure hope you get some kind of response. This is such a big issue in every school (private included) and I hope your bringing it up to the school board gets some balls rolling. What a wonderful thing you have started...good for you!

Send the letter. I like how you offered resources for them to look up but will they is the question. Good luck on what you decide, I worry about my girl as she grows older.

I'm really hoping the letter will make a difference. I sent it a couple of weeks ago. I'm hoping over the summer when the school plans for the new school year that they will consider some assemblies on bullying. I'll find out when school starts next year. Becca is going to see how it is the first month and if it is still terrible for her then we will probably pull her out and send her to another school. I'm hoping we won't have to do that but only time will tell. We'll do whatever is best for her so she can be in a comfortable environment.
