I can't get into the chatroom on my new computer . When I hit "chats," I get a little box in the corner of a big box. When I click on the box, I don't get anything. I don't know what's happening .

Lillian, The only thing I can think of for you to check is your Multi-media. (Tools, Internet Options, Advanced and scroll to multi-media) I have everything checked but "show image download place holders". I'm not real sure if this is the problem or not?? Just guessing.

Hi, Lillian, I believe you may not have Java loaded in your new computer. That would explain why you get an empty box, which is the chat window, with a smaller box inside. I suspect the smaller box may be an indicator that Java is missing or simply not enabled. That may be the case, as you have a new computer. I do not have a Windows computer (we do everything on Macs), so I'm not sure where to look to enable Java. Perhaps someone reading this post will offer that vital bit of informaiton. You also can download Java and reinstall it; in doing so, you would be asked whether to turn it on or not. Visit this site for a Java download: www.java.com/en/download/index.jspThe site listed is operated by Sun Microsystems, which created Java. Its downloads should be free of viruses, or spyware, but if you have a nasty file detector, let it check out the download before you open it. I hope this helps. Please let me know if the problem is solved. Peace, pete pw@teamprairie.net

Thanks, Pete! I now have Java and can get into the chat room. That's what the problems was.
