I didn't get in trouble today in fact I was quite good I handed all my homework in and listened as I should I hurt nobody's feelings didn't hit another kid I followed all directions these are some of the things I did There were no meetings held today to tell you all I do My teacher didn't call the house and need to speak with you I don't have lots of doctors my appointments far and few Do I need to change my ways to spend more time with you I always try my hardest I hope I make you proud Perhaps you just might notice me If I was demanding and real loud I know you're stressed and busy I know it takes a lot But please will you remember me Sometimes I feel forgot

Thats really good KK. My son will completely identify with that.
I have been going nuts here the last couple of weeks with everything going on and my son informed me he felt like he was invisible. He has been trying very hard to do the right things and because he wasn't in my face with problems, he didn't get the positive attention he deserved.

Thats a wonderful childs eye view, KK. When did you write it?

I actually just wrote it this morning when I saw this new section. I have been feeling bad about things since I realized that I had not signed Joe's planner in a week like I am supposed to but signed Sean's every day.

wow that is cool, don't feel bad, take a one on one time with him and just reinforce that you are proud of him for just being him and doing his best. I let my kids come up with a running list of things they want to do together as a family and the one on one stuff too and we look at it when one of them will be gone or busy and the other one is home with me! I know it is harder for you, since one of your kids needs almost 24/7 interaction with you.

KK...I've read this 4 times and it just brought me to tears. What a beautiful but gut-wrenching tribute. Did you share this with Joe?
