john, I collect twisty ties too! I have a whole drawer full. I do use them though. I also collect socks & pens. But I don't think collecting a few things is quite the same as saving every piece of junk that you come in contact with (Which is what my husband does...ugh).

What is it with twisty ties? My sister collects them plus rubber-bands not to mention a gazillion other things. I guess if you collect just a couple of different items it isn't a big deal but really, how many twisty ties and rubberbands does one need.

ROTFL My obssesion is office supplies. Yes, I'm serious. I have to have one package of almost everything you can think of such as graph paper, photographic paper, photographic iron on paper, one niftly ruler, one package of every kind of label there is, protractor, different lead pencils, well...you get the picture but the difference is my stuff is one package of each and they are all stored away neatly in nifty office containers inside cupboards or drawers.

well for you gumband collectors, I have about 3000 left over from 3 years ago when Ran delivered papers! I told the paper guy to come pick them up along with her paper girl bag and he never did. SO who wants them? ;D

Your state isn't too far from mine. Maybe if I hook it on a post outside I can shoot it to you. LC, you may as well throw those newspaper ones away. They are probably all dried out and will break the minute you try to use them.
