Last weeks of Summer

I have off from August 16th until the 31st.

Tiff and I are doing several of the above. We are going on some day trips. Hitting the pool with neighbors and just staying around the house.

School starts the 31st.

How about "None of the above"? Our plans for the end of summer are a bunch of appointments all ending up with Bill's bone replacement surgery.

We are not doing anything but work, work, work and more work!!! we are such boring people I know!!!! But that is all we do. And we cant even save money! That is really sad!!!

We are sticking close to home. I don't have a vacation coming up so I'm stuck here. I could ask for time off but not get paid. I prefer the money.

I thought John was going to take Jonathan to SLC or Phoenix to visit family but for some reason he decided not to. I'm hoping he changes his mind even if it means a very short trip. Jonathan was really looking forward to it.

Our summer has really been a bust. With Kyle laid off so much, and me working as much as I can, we've done nothing but go to the park and just hang out. We're hoping to get away in October for our 20th anniversary...we'll see.

between the three kids and myself, we packed in seven doctor/dentist/eye appts in three days; lots of errands, then after finding out that one needed wisdom teeth out, squeezed that in the same week so we could use dental cobra before it ran out on the 31st. next day drove the other one to college; after that got my dd off to the airport for another year in Cairo. whew!
now its just me and the youngest. pretty quiet except for the new puppy we adopted from guide dogs org. (we adopted him at the beginning of this madness!)
