My summer was so peaceful, it had to end right?
Problems at school already-not even through the 2nd week. At the end of the school year I think I mentioned how Sean was "liking" a bunch of girls and it was becoming a problem in class. He was not focusing on his work because all he could do "was think about these girls." (his words) The counselor was pretty concerned as he gets very obsessive but the year ended and I thought that would be the end of it. But no. There was some big drama at school yesterday as Sean was telling some boys that he liked these girls still & the boys told the girls and the girls were making fun of him and he flipped out and had to go to the principal's office. Not good.
At home it is a whole other story. The other day my husband and his ex-wife had a long conversation and we all found out that Sean is quite the liar. She called with some stories about things that my husband had done to Sean that were all completely untrue. Like he told Sean it was ok to hit his sister in the face, took away his Wii and DS and all of his toys. Ridiculous stuff. Then he told her all the things Sean says happened at her house and turns out these things are not true either. I have been the subject of these types of stories myself, like him telling people I don't feed him. I talked to the psych about this on Monday and he said this, combined with the constant need for attention and some other things going on make him think Sean has RAD. Gee really? I believe I mentioned that 4 years ago because he displays so many of the symptoms. I swear sometimes we will never know the truth.
