I just have a question on this and I know I went to NYC and I know I can mix the vyvance with liquid. Both of of my boys Michael and Adam are on it.
Adam just got diagnosed today with ADHD and ODD. And I know he is not going to be able to swallow the pills. So I am trying to figure out what I can mix this with. I know he will not drink water.
Michael has been on it for 3 days now and t his is the best I have seen him in months. His teacher called me this morning to thank us for putting him on this. But HELP!!!

Have you tried embedding the pill in a spoonful of pudding or applesauce? Lots of kids who can't swallow pills have success this way. I don't know anything really about Vyvance....maybe others will have somne different suggestions.

Sean was pretty young when he started on meds and had never swallowed pills either. At first I put the pill in applesauce and that worked really well. Maybe you could try that?

Ok thanks to both of you!!! We got him to take it with yogurt. And he dont even know he is taking it. But now I have to keep yogurt in the house just for him!!! Lol!!!!  |

I have awesome news!!!!! I went to school last thursday to deal with something with michael and adams teacher told me that I have to see this!!! I went in the class room and it was really busy all the kids were bouncing around. the teacher was explaining to me that they were having a birthday party. and that normally adam would be bouncing off the walls hurting the other kids and be horriable. well I walked in there and there was my son sitting at his desk doing make up work. being really good. I told the teacher that was not my son. LOL!!! so i am really excited and happy!!! ;D ;D I just hope this continues because I have my doubts
