All the ingredients you listed are relaxants. I looked it up to be sure. I think it would calm almost everyone down. Does it just relax you so you don't feel stressed or does it make you want to sleep?
You've given me one more product to consider having on hand. Can you just take it when you feel stressed or do you have to take it regularly?
********* This is what the ad said about it:
Don't let occasional stress get you down. Theanine Serene with Relora contains the amino acid L-theanine, to support relaxing brain wave activity, and taurine to ease tension, as well as the calming neurotransmitter GABA. It also features magnesium to support muscle and nerve relaxation, calming valerian root extract and Relora to gently soothe away the tension in your body.

I read that ad 3 times at least and it wasn't until I submitted that I saw it said occasional right there in plain English.

I could use that. Most of the time I feel like what I really want to do is run away from all the stress. I have a hard time not yelling over the most minor issues anymore.
I'll look into it. Thanks.

We used Theanine for a bit w/ our son but it made him really moody. The magnesium, on the other hand, really does the trick in calming him down! Glad you found something relaxing!

well, about that theanine/relora crap, i threw the rest of it away!! i noticed that i was getting very moody and i wasnt able to control my emotions in times of stress. but a few days after i quit, i noticed that i was better at handleing my mood and i'm now more pleasant to the people around me, at least thats what im told. i think ill just stick to the adderall, magnesium, vitamin b complex and fishoil!!

Have you tried just the serine? I hurd great things about it on another ADHD site! I plan on giving it another go with ds. I want to get the blood test done to see if ds Is really in need of the Serine. We tried it for a breif time right after amino acid therepy and Iam hopeing that is why we did not see the results we were hopeing for! His norepinephrie had gotten way to high!
If your intrested I can let you know the brand everyone is using!

i've tried the theanine by itself and it seemed to work pretty well, but since its found in green tea, i would brew a few cups of de-caffienated green tea and that seemed to help during league night (bowling). i did use the capsules (200mg) and it was quite effective.
