What's the general feedback from adults who've used AdderallXR? I'm thinking of trying it out on myself and was curious if thre was anything I should be aware of first.

I can't speak to you with an adult with ADHD, but my daughter had used Adderall XR. It worked well with her inattentiveness, but she didn't eat. She got to the point where I could see her ribs through her back.
I would hope that the effects would be different on adults, but that is all I can give you on the subject.
Hope it helps.

I'am on Adderall XR for Adult ADHD and my doctor just lower dose of my ADHD meds to try it out and see how i do on 30 mg per day. So far i'am doing alot better i think i have less anxitey then before i took 60 mg per day and that made me had more anxitey.
Maybe u should give it a try it out and see.

Well the 'not eating' side effects should wear off after a few weeks right? I can't afford to lose weight. As for the anxieties, I suffer from anxieties as well so is this a side effect from the meds being too high or do you generally have anxiety issues apart from the meds?

im on 90 mg of adderall per day. (30 mg three times per day) and it helps me a lot. My only problems were are first i didnt eat much but that passed after a week or so. i had really bad withdrawl from it though, i would get extremely hyper at night when it would wear off, but my pdoc solved that problem with a low dose of ritalin before the withdrawl would occur. it also helped me get to sleep. so i have neither of these issues anymore with adhd. the adderall really helps a lot to get me through the day. it makes me a lot calmer and better able to focus. i would highly recoment this, because i have been on prettty much every adhd med there is and so far this one is the best for me personally so far.
