Men And ADD/ADHD Our society accepts the woman that cries in public. Women, after all, are considered to be more emotional than men. Men are supposed to be the emotional strong, the part of the world that solves problems, remains objective and keeps their cool at all times. As they are growing up, more often than not, men are not taught the language of emotions. They are taught not to cry from a young age and it is rare that they are asked to express their feelings, talk about their emotions and to accept that these emotions are a part of being human. As young children we consider them to be “highly sensitive” when we see a young boy crying.
