Hotlinking
We have had complaints of our site being slow. In researching possible reasons, we found that people are using our smilies and graphics on other sites without downloading them into their computers first.
This takes our bandwidth and slows us down. It can actually prevent anyone from accessing our site if it gets bad enough.
Anyone caught doing this, (and we can tell who is doing it), will be temporarily banned from our site. This is to protect our site.
You can find directions on how to use them safely in a thread titled PHOTOBUCKET in the technical board.
If you have any questions, admin will be glad to answer them and help you get started.
