OK I have decided to take my medications. I won't have any money to go to the doctor this month but i do have a full month supply of my Abilify that has been sitting in my fridge since March. I will start taking it tonight. I figure if I am going to be making changes around the house, my meds might as well be one of them.

Hopefully you'll be able to afford the Dr for next month & be able to get refills. Let us know how things are going & how the meds are working for you.

Sim, I don't know much about the shelf life of Abilify. I know you said you had it in the fridge since March. You may want to check to see if it is still O.K. to take.

Shelf life is 1 year. Yes thats the only med i am suppose to be taking. I started taking it last night cuz i kept forgetting. I woke up this morning sick as a dog I remember being sick the last time but i was also on another medication that wasn't for bipolar. I started them at the same time so i never knew which one made me sick.

Sim, That is a side affect of Abilify (SIDE EFFECTS that may occur while taking this medicine include headache, nausea, vomiting, constipation, lightheadedness, dizziness, change in weight, upset stomach, blurred vision, restlessness, tremor, increased amount of saliva, trouble sleeping, or drowsiness.) and it sounds like you are one of the unlucky ones who is getting that side affect but the feeling sick may go away. You really need to have a doctor lined up to oversee you taking this med in case the side affects of feeling sick doesn't go away. You need a doctor to tell you what to do next.
