Hotlinking graphics is wrong and can get you banned. If you want to use graphics there is a way you can use them safely and legally.
For those of you who would like to snag our graphics & smilies, here are instructions for using photobucket. Photobucket is a site that will store your graphics for you & allow you to post them on message boards legally & for FREE!
1. go HERE:
photobucket.com/
and register for a free account.
2. Right click & save to your computer the graphics you want.
3. Log on to your photobucket account. Click the BROWSE button & upload the graphics you've saved.
Now...to use them in signatures:
1. click PROFILE
2.click MODIFY PROFILE
3.scroll down past where your avatar shows to where it says SIGNATURE
4.Copy & paste the IMG code (NOT the URL) from the blinkie you want in your photobucket account.
NOTE:...for regular sized blinkies, I've found 4 will fit. If they are larger or you have text you want to put in, less than 4 will fit.
5. click the MODIFY PROFILE buttoon at the bottom!
Thats it!
To use them in Posts:
1.Click New topic OR REply
2.Copy & paste the IMG code (NOT the URL) from the blinkie you want in your photobucket account into the reply box.
3. Add your post & post it & the graphics will show in it!
