puzzled
My 10 year old has appetite issues from his Concerta (not so much since we added Periactin) but still I tend to be a short order cook for him at least at breakfast, and his fav lately is:
2 scrambled eggs (140 cals) 6 small pepperoni sticks sliced in while eggs are cooking (110 cals) generous sprinkling of shredded cheddar (1/4 cup=110 cals) all this wrapped in a flour tortilla (the brand I have right now= 117 cals) this varies by brand..
for a grand total of 477 calories (I don't even wanna think of the cholesterol!!)
Then he usually drinks some chocolate milk (whole milk of course!)
If this doesn't put some weight on him soon, nothing will...I think that I gain weight just looking at it!!
Last week, he wanted bacon bits in it instead of the pepperoni...
