The other thread was getting long and I realized it has been a long time since I posted about it. Well it is Dec 22nd. I started this at the end of Aug. Almost 4 whole months have gone by.
Started at 196lbs Now at 161lbs Total so far 36lbs!!!!
Not at goal yet, but trying to maintain weight now over the holidays.
Sarah put it onto perpective the other day. Besides doing the happy dance and a gift card to get clothes for my "new body", as she says. She said I have lost the weight of a toddler. Wow that is so correct.
How is everyone else doing that were trying to loose a few lbs?
So hard with Pizelles and Sugar Cookies floating around. Ugh...

I have to agree with you Uni. These days are terrible when one wants to watch her weight. I keep my same weight ever since I lost all the extra. I remember that once I went to a Dr. to lose weight (many years ago, I was a teen ager) and she told me that my extra weight equaled a heavy suitcase... well..., I had around 50 extra pounds. I can say that I lost about the weight of my 7 year old son today, LOL.
But I just wanted to tell you to keep going; you are doing great. I know how hard it is to be careful during this season, and I think we also need enjoyment from Christmas foods; but a little of everything in moderation won't be harmful; there's always January when we resume or routines and everything goes back to normal.
Congrats!

Wow Uni that is fantastic! I am proud of you. As for me I have still not managed to dislodge the glass of Pepsi from my hand. I have not lost a pound. Moo.

Wow Uni! That is great! Maybe I should make a resolution to lose the equivalent of the weight of a toddler. Saying I am going to do it someday doesn't seem to be getting any off. I'm not even going to try until the holiday goodies are gone though. Love that fudge!

Sorry Uni. I didn't even think about how mean it was to mention the f word in your diet thread.

You were not being mean. These are things that are so good that I have to try really hard to stay away from or just eat 1 piece. Does the fudge have nuts in it or not. At least the nuts would be good for me ha ha...
