We were slightly over the eligibility limit for our state health insurance a couple of years ago. My dh has been on comp for a while now so I decided to see if we were eligible at this time. Lo and behold! They have raised the limits.
They have also created a plan for people who aren't eligible for the low rates but can pay the full premium. We have been going without insurance needlessly because I didn't think to check for current changes.
If you have tried in the past and were making too much, it won't hurt to look it up again. You may be as pleasantly surprised as I was.
