Read text first, then see attached video. Read the text first! Jennifer and Jim kept getting huge water bills. They knew beyond about that the bills weren't representative of their Actual usage, and no matter how they tried to conserve, the high bills continued. Although they could see nothing wrong, they had everything checked for problems: first the water meter, then outdoor pipes, indoor pipes, underground pipes, faucets, toilets, washer, ice maker, etc. -- all to no avail. One day Jim was sick and stayed home in bed, but kept hearing water running downstairs. He finally tore himself from his sick bed to investigate, and stumbled onto the cause of such high water bills. Apparently this was happening all day long when they were not at home. Knowing that few would believe him, he taped a segment of the ’problem' for posterity -- see attached video. Click the image & the video will open in a new window.

John that is so funny...I had a cat years ago that loved to watch the toilet flush....if he heard it, he would come running and try to get in the bathroom. The girls were little, and they would sometimes flush it for him to watch. I thought sometimes that he was gonna fall in he leaned in so far!
He never learned to do it himself.......at least I don't think so, we have a well, so no water bills!

That is just the funniest thing. I was checking really close to see if someone animated the cat to do that but I don't thinks so. It looks like the flushing handle was easy to use so the cat could have done it. Either way, it's FUNNY!!! Thanks John. You made my day.
