You see that graphic at the top of this board. Well I did that when I was a kid. My brother noticed I was looking at the frost on the paddle-lock on our school house door (we were waiting for the teacher to get there) and he told me not to lick it or my tongue would get stuck. Of course me being the defiant bratty tantrum throwing child I was, I licked it. He had to run over and get the teacher (she lived across the street) and she ran warm water over my tongue. Actually, it was all pretty tramatic for me because she was an awful mean teacher and I knew she'd hate me more for her having to go to that trouble. Aww, memories. Glad I can laugh now.

My brother did that too. I don't remember what he stuck his tongue on but we did find out that if you wait long enough and try enough, you can get loose. We didn't dare tell Mom so going for help was out of the question. I think he had quite a sore tongue for a while if I remember right.

My tongue was sore too because I was trying not to cry and that doesn't work so well when your tongue is stuck out so it pulled some of the skin off. (I was 5 when I did that - my first year at school)
