Today I decided not to give my son the small dose of Ritalin he was taking before going to school. I have been doubting this tiny dose is really necessary and since he has been extremely anxious lately, today I sent him to school only with Concerta.
We will be attending the meeting today at school; I will let the school know about this so they can observe him and give me some feedback. I hope it all turns out well.

The meeting was OK as for the information the psych was providing us with. She emphasized about her concerns on my son's anxiety, that is actually what she said when she called my husband. I explained her about the ritalin and she said they would observe him and give feedback about him.
As for my husband, he didn't take things well; he was calm during the whole meeting but he expressed his discomfort when he called me after it; he is definitely very upset and depressed. Right now I am not felling well about this whole thing and I don't really know what to do.
Thanks for your good wishes.

hey, it natural to feel that way after someone discusses your kids issues, now make a plan of what was said and list things you need to do like research some more about dealing with whatever they shared with you. Find out what things you can do for your boy to help him out now. You all will be ok.
KK, med doseage adjustment might help.
