You know what is funny or weird. When I start getting more sleep I either start remembering (waking up a little I guess) my dreams or I start dreaming again. I'm not sure which it is. I guess everyone dreams but when I'm only getting 3-4 hours of sleep I swear I don't dream or am so tired I just don't wake up.
I don't have nightmares though, thank goodness. My dreams are just very stupid dreams. I'm sorry you have nightmares. I wonder why? Do they ever make any sense? Like you dreamed it because of a creepy T.V. show or movie? Just curious if you can make any connection as to why you dreamed whatever you dreamed.
Anyway, congrats on getting to bed fairly early. I AM going to bed at 2:00 again tonight and maybe even earlier!

yeah I might know what the nightmare thing is all about, they went away for a few weeks, but yeah.
You can train your brain to go to bed I guess? So that is what I am told, you have to slowly do it and it takes time apparently, but it can be done.

I don't know, but the earliest that I can even get to bed lately is 12:30am, I'm just getting on the computer now and I doubt that it will be as early as that tonight. Last night was 2am, I just am too wound up still to chill out and go to sleep.
Hey lcdc1, I'm doin' OK. Really does suck that you're geting nighmares. They just don't leave ya feelin' right when the day begins.

your wound for sound Roly! You sound like me in that respect. My nightmare thing is generated more than likely by past crap, so I don't dwell on it, just makes it a pain when you are sleeping well and BAM, there they are!

Well lcdc1, I hope the nightmares get replaced with pleasant dreams, that way when you wake up you do so with a smile.
I tend to need a lot of down time to settle in for a "good nights sleep", I think it's because both of my jobs are stressful and I need to steer my mind away from the duldrums of the day, that way I can dose off with good thoughts in my head.

I should be sleeping now, I am feeling htat tired, exhausted feeling, but I cannot sleep at all right now! danger zone for me at these times. I drew like 3 pictures, I took care of all my business for the night, the kids are crashed on the couch, ARGHHHHHHHHH - and all you east coasters are snoozing!
