yeah there was some research I had to do on this drawing cause I do not know owls like other things I draw! I had to go over to our biologists office and look at some of their books and pics they took of the spotted owl and they had other owls too, then I thought about how they sit on branches and stuff. I did not realize there were all those types of owls! So you taught me something about owls by having to study some background on them!
Do you know I have hooted owls at night, never saw them though, I had to go out with the biologists some nights and do this. We had to learn how to hoot and stuff. A lot of fire people used to volunteer to do that to earn some extra bucks outside of fire season. I still know how to HOOT!

Hey LC, I'm a owl hooter from way back when I was a kid. Actually I do it in my hands - you know..making my hands into sort of a whistle. I can do dove calls too. Hee hee.
Good picture.

Good picture. thanks, that is a good thing to know how to do, you could be hired for night duty to hoot up owls! I can also bark like a sea lion! I used to go to the jetty when we lived on the coast and amaze the girls when I could get the sea lions fired up!
