I just wondered what everyone is getting their kids for Easter. I already did my shopping. Shannon is trying to eat healthy so there won't be much candy, although I did order a white chocolate cross (her favorite) from my cousin's son's Boy Scout fund raiser. I'll probably throw some jelly beans in too. I went to Walmart today & got her a DVD player. Hers broke & she's been bummed. I got her the Jacka$$ 2.5 movie & a lighted make up mirror. I plan on getting her an Itunes gift card & maybe a book or 2 & I'll be done. I don't think her stuff will fit in a basket so I'm not gonna bother buying the Easter grass this year.

Well my 2 boys will probly get those prefilled baskets, but for nicole I think she is to old for those. So we will probly just make her a basket with some makeup and an itunes card for her ipod. I might even let her get something pierced. She has been wanting her nose done. so i will see what i can do on that part.

I get my girls some candy they like and usually a video or gift card thing, teenagers are just too picky at times, so I would rather Ran go pick out her own thing! I dunno, she needs some new soccer boots!

I agree that teens can be way too picky. Plus everything they want costs so much! I miss the days when a chocolate bunny made Shannon so happy!

I must be a kid at heart! A white chocolate bunny still makes me happy!

I enjoy making up my daughters easter basket! I usually put some easter candy & a stuffed animal & a few little toys! When my boys were still at home and were teenagers, they used to like when I would just make up 1 big easter basket & fill it up with easter candies & it just sat in the middle of the table, like a centerpiece.....their friends liked it too!

I used to love making Shannon's basket too. I never bought those premade ones as I like to buy the quality chocolate. Its not as fun now that she's older.

I am sad. My kids just told me that they dont want to dye easter eggs this year. They just want to do the prefilled eggs.. That is a family things for us to do every year. But I guess we will be doing things different this year

I never understood presents at Easter, I have never done them, never got them as a child either.
I will most likely do some candy, but the boys are getting too old....they do like the eggs though so we will do them.

the eggs are cool, Ran loves egg salad and I love the fact that the egg salad is all different colors!
