The wonderful non-calendar looking before booking a flight mom, made our flight to San Diego Easter day. UGH!!! So I have to have her stuff that will fit in my suitcase, or do it the day before, defeating the Easter bunny that she still believes in. But I can fit some stuff in my suitcase and surprise her along the way.
Can I say how excited I am for our trip!!!! Will take lots of pics for all of you...
But she will get some candy and a toy or like a new outfit or part of an outfit (not dressy, but everyday outfit)
And I have bought something for the daughter of my friend we are visiting too for Easter.

Same as Puzzled; I have never done presents on Easter either. But I usually offer candy and stuff like that to my kids.

My sister & I always just got candy too, but when I had Shannon I didn't want her to have all that junk so I just bought toys. She does get SOME candy, just not much. She's definitely spoiled. I have pictures of her "baskets" from over the years. The stuff never fit in the basket...I used to set it up on the table...the basket in the middle with toys all around. It would take up the whole table!

Misty i just had to laugh. I thought i was the only one who just couldn't fit all the toys in the kids baskets. I have to set everything around the basket. Sometimes i just go too crazy. But thats ok. I remember my mom doing the same thing and my sister and I loved it. We always dye the eggs too. This year has just crept up too quick. Why is Easter so early this year? Anyone know? Uni have a wonderful time in CA. Gosh i wish i could go. I'm sure they have better weather than we do. We will probably have a egg hunt in the snow..lol

My son has an Easter basket that I've kept from year-to-year. I stuff it full of chocolate and treats, then I also put a small amount of cash and a gift card in it.
