This morning was more of the same. It caused me to be leave the house 40 minutes later then usual to get to work, ouch! Her daycare lady asked what happened and I begand to tell her of the not getting up, not bathing, the mouth. Tiff looked at her and said "whatever." Ugh whatever my foot. I apologized.

The best part of all this is they usually outgrow it eventually if we stay on their case about their lack of respect and let them live long enough!

Grrrrr...[/quote I am going to make a suggestion that may or may not be welcome ... I do not think you should talk about her behavior in front of her to others. I know the woman asked, but that doesn't mean she needed a detailed explanation at that moment. Just say "Oh you know -- hectic morning. Obviously I'm late and I'd better gallop on! "

Oh i so know what you have been going thru. My dd who is only 6 has the worst mood swings. And the eye rolling thing. I told her if she rolled her eyes one more time i was taping them shut. She brought me the tape..lol Hubby and I were talking last night about it and we dont know what the heck we are going to do when her time of the month comes along. It always seems like when she is getting sick she acts this way. Last night she was screaming at all of us. First it was to get her a fan cuz she was hot. But i felt her head and she didnt have a fever at the time. Then it was get her a blanket cuz she was cold. She was screaming at Jarred. Pushed him down the stairs cuz he wasnt going down them fast enough. It just went on and on. Till i finally started yelling at her. Then all of a sudden she couldnt breath and was coughing non stop and i sat down with her and she had a fever. She took a nebulizer treatment and some tylenol and finally fell asleep. I used to roll my eyes at my mom. And she would always say I hope you have a kid just like you.. She is just like me and i hate it..lol

My mother used to wish a kid just like me on me also. When my daughter was small, I told Mom she got her wish and she informed me that my daughter wasn't nearly as bad as I was.

I am in the same boat as you all. Nicole is very mouthy. I usually tell I dont like it when she talks to me like that. Then I do it back to her when she talks to me the same way. She gets really mad and storms off. But I think I am going to try not talking to her I like that. I did do that once, I walked in her room and yelled at her and told her I will never speak to her again tell she can treat me right, it took her like 45 min to come and talk to me and say sorry. But I didnt think nothing of it.

I remember telling my mom I hated her, rolling my eyes at her, & saying "Whatever". A couple weeks ago when Shannon was having a mouthy "I hate you day" I happened to be going to my moms. I went in & hugged her & told her I was so sorry to have treated her like that...that I was getting it right back at me & finally know how bad it had to have hurt her. She was surprised after all these years! Shannon is JUST like me.....ARGH!
