I'm not sure is it just ADHD or more/something else?
My girl have next "problems": psychical: - ADHD (hyperactive, impulsive, inattention) - hypo sensitive (touching, smelling everything..)
and physical: - double scoliosis - hips displasio - flat feet - myopia
and more: - poor motor (gross and fine) skills - poor face recognition
Is there any connection here for all this or is she just kid with bad luck... She was born as healthy baby with apgar 10/10.

Thousands, How old is your daughter? Has she ever had any type of evaluation? The touching/smelling thing sounds like something in the Autistic spectrum to me. Not sure about the physical problems. I don't think she has bad luck although I have felt that way myself about my stepson. He has a laundry list of physical and psychological problems. I often wondered if they were linked together and were some type of "syndrome." He had a heart condition that was corrected by surgery(PDA), has severe asthma, amblyopia and muscle imbalance in his eyes, ADHD, bipolar and pretty much almost diagnosed with Aspergers. We have slowly been getting to the bottom of things over the past 2 years. Everyone here has been there for me and so helpful every step of the way. to you.

She is 11. Tested by child neuropsychiatric to confirm ADHD. Neuroped said he do not think it is adhd but something else. On my question What else? he said he dont know but there is something else.
I somehow think there is some link between those problems. Asked her orthopedic dr where those scoliosis and hips problem came from - off course he dont know... and there is no such history of disorders in my family...

Was she born with hip dysplasia? I ask because my daughter was & she wore a complicated brace for her first year & it corrected itself. My sister was also born with it. She wore a brace & then corrective shoes until she was about 4.

Alien, ask the neuroped what other tests might be helpful in confirming or eliminating other conditions that might have these symptoms, tell the doc they are beginning to interfer more with her quality of life and social interactions and whatever else you are observing.

There are many genetic syndromes which include the medical problems that you list. Turner syndrome and 22q are two that I know of right off the top of my head, but I am sure there are many other conditions which could also include what you describe. I would recommend you speak to your pediatrician and request a consult to a genetics doctor. Almost all pediatric hospitals will have a genetics department. If you don't have good medical coverage, then perhaps you could look into research studies. Sometimes they will help pay transportation costs for people participating. One thing I would ask is whether the results of the tests would be available to you because sometimes they are not. Here is a link to one I found on scoliosis www.iscoliosis.com/articles-genetics.html

Alien, First, welcome! I didn't know you were posting over here. It's wonderful to "see" you here. Honestly, with the stories I've heard about your girl over the years--toe walking, poor motor skills, unusual gait, living in her own world, extreme difficulties with social interaction, highly inappropriate social behavior, smelling and touching everything, eating or chewing on inedible items, impulsive, sensitive to sounds--I keep thinking of PDD-NOS. Here is some information on both PDD-NOS and PDD, which are not the same thing. PDD-NOS is an actual dx, whereas PDD is a broader category, with separate dxs, such as PDD-NOS, under it. PDD-NOS is on the autism spectrum: www.medicinenet.com/pervasive_development_disorders/page2.htmwww.schoolbehavior.com/conditions_pddoverview.htmwww.sciencedaily.com/releases/2007/07/070730111646.htm

Misty, she was born with (left) hip dysplasia, wore pavlik braces, dr told me then, there is some mild dysplasia yet but that is ok. But when she entered puberty and started rapidly to grow, she had unusual gait, we took her to dr again - and there was displasia on both hips. I researched those links you gave me, especially PDD NOS, previous days...I make an appt for some new testing starting in next week... we'll see then

I hope you get some answers that will help your daughter. Don't worry too much about the label of it all, a smart woman once told me not to focus on that, but focus on the symptoms and issues and start tackling those.
