Just wondering how everyone is spending Mother's day. It just happens that my mom's birthday is 2 days after & mine 2 days after that so we will be celebrating all 3 occasions this Sunday. My sister & I are bringing steaks, potatoes, corn on the cob & a cake to my mom's where we will cook out. After we will exchange Mothers day & Birthday gifts & just hang out together. My hubby & sis's hubby will do some yard work my mom wants done. We bought my mom a digital picture frame so she can show off her digital pictures in style. She didn't ask for it, but I consulted my dad & he agreed that she'll love it! My sister is Shannon's godmother so Shannon bought her a sterling silver heart necklace.
Oh & Shannon told me she doesn't have any money so she'll be getting me a hug for Mothers day! ROFL. Her & Bill always get me a Dairy Queen ice cream cake on my birthday too, which is the only thing I ever ask for.
what are your plans?

I will spend the day at my mom's place and we still don't have specific plans but I guess we will have lunch there. At the same time we will be celebrating my mom's birthday since it was about a week ago but my parents were out of the country.

The girls want to go out and eat and then the best thing! They are going to help me take all the heavy winter blankets and sleeping bags to the laundromat that has those heavy duty washers,, that will be a big chore out of the way! ;D

I celebrated Mother's Day today. Had most of the day to myself, so I watched golf (the pro's are playing in Jacksonville this week) and napped. On the official Mother's Day, I will be in charge of Porkchop since DH is flying to Columbus, OH in the a.m. DH is apprehensive about the flight because there's supposed to be horrible weather from Florida on up to the north. I think I will take Porkchop to the library. Last Friday he won an award at school for Accelerated Reading! Then we will join his "girlfriend" for a playdate.  |

We had a get together with Jon's side of the family at a park. It was supposed to be a picnic, but it was rainy and cold, so we stayed in the pavilion which was still nice. It is also Evy's birthday (#4) so we had cake for her and she got her gifts too.

Church, dishes, laundry, taking care of the kids.......same ol' stuff. Tried to nap----that didn't work. DH is on his weekend cycle so no help here, but even when he is here, it is STILL the same old stuff on M-day.....Stinks don't it!

I didn't do a whole lot on mother's day. Tiffany had a friend come over for most of the day and had dinner at my mother's house.
