Shannon had a pottery class in art class. She made a neat pot & a trivet. She decorated both with the heartagram, the symbol of her favorite group from Finland, HIM. I think she did a great job! The cat loves the pot...LOL..I think she was hoping there was food in it!

Cool! She did a nice job on them.
I loved pottery when I was in school a million years ago. I've wanted a pottery wheel and kiln ever since but its not likely I'll ever have either. Did Shannon enjoy the classes?

Did Shannon enjoy the classes? Me too Charliegirl. I don't even know if I'd be any good at pottery. I think I tried once in school and don't even remember what I made but it is still a secret dream of mine. I don't know, something about sitting at a potters wheel seem therapeutic. LOL Tell Shannon that is really good! She picked my favorite shade of blue. And Misty....your cat. In that picture it looks like it has sheep's wool. Hee hee. Cats are always so inquisitive. I moved a cantaloupe from the fruit basket so it was sitting in the sunshine (to ripen) and my cat had to go sniff it. I moved some grape vines I'm rooting to a sunshiny spot and the cat had to sniff that too and check it out. Silly cats. Anyway....great job Shannon.

Shannon did a great job! Good for her. I love to see kids do this sort of art. I love how their minds go to their favorite things.
Hey, I bet this will look great in her new room. Awesome job, Shannon!

Thumbs Up Shann . . . How come we don't have a saying like, ''Nosy as a Cat''?

there is a saying that says, "curiousity killed the cat!"
Nice job shannon, I used to love clay, it is a good hands on type of art and is good for getting frustrations out! I never used the wheel thing, but always enjoyed working that brown clay with my hands!
