Hi, I know a lot of you from the "other" site, where I'm a mod. My name is Laurie, they call me Trid (remember: trix are for kids? Well, kicks are for trids was my brother's motto)
I have 3 boys, 13, 15, 17. I am a PA homeschooling mom and a recent widow after 20 yrs. when DH had a brain anuerysm.
I came over to offer my prayers, support, and love for Misty while she gets through these next few weeks. Because I have experience with the cyber schools in PA, I want to help her with Shannon getting started in the fall. My DH got sick the first day of our home school year in September, and the best thing for us was to be all together and have the flexibility we needed to be with him in the hospital, and do our school work when he was having good days.
I was so glad to know that Shannon can get her school work done next year without having to live by a rigid schedule. It will make all 3 of them adjust better to the new way of life.
Extra hugs to all of you for your strength and prayers. They are what will help Misty and Shannon get through the next few weeks and beyond.
