does anyone know if Processing Speed on Wech 4 is low or low average. My son scored 85; 16% percentile on just that portion. Verbal was 114, Perceptual 100 Working Memory 91
Is processing visual perception skills?

Welcome!
I talked to Gina last night at Nethaven. I'm assuming you are the one who e-mailed us. That is considered low average but its on the lower end of that.
Processing speed is the speed at which you assimilate information. It may take longer to understand something written or spoken, then store it in your memory. When taking a test or answering a question, he might know the answers but it would take him longer to understand the question, apply it to what he knows and then retrieve the information so he can answer.
A person can be very intelligent but when they have slower processing speed, they need extra time. ADHDers often have extra time for homework, written classwork and tests written in as part of their IEPs since they need that extra time to show what they really know.
I am not good at decoding eval scores but it looks to me like your son is bright but his processing speed pulled his overall score down. I'm sure some of the others here will be able to help you understand his scores better if you have any questions.
We're here to offer support and encouragement so jump right in with any questions or even to let us know if you need a hug. The people here give great online hugs.
